Health & Wellness at Little Scouts

At Little Scouts, we know that young children are still building their immune systems, and we take every precaution to minimize the spread of illness in our classrooms. Our daily health and hygiene practices include frequent handwashing, regular sanitization of toys and surfaces, and monitoring children for signs of illness. We follow strict illness policies to help keep our community healthy, including clear guidelines on when children should stay home and when they can return after being sick.

We also emphasize healthy habits with our Little Scouts, teaching them how to cover coughs and sneezes, wash hands properly, and take care of their bodies. By working together—families and teachers—we can create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow while staying as healthy as possible.

Safety Precautions

How we are keeping our kiddos safe

Each room is equipped with a Medify air purifier. These air purifiers clean an area of 840 square feet every 30 minutes.

High touch surfaces are sanitized hourly throughout the day, and at night our cleaning crew uses hospital-grade disinfectants to ensure that our space is clean and safe each day.

We have a locked facility. Our outside doors require a key fob for entry. Each family is issued fobs upon registration, and the fobs are deactivated if they are lost or broken.

All of our teachers are trained in Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid.
